Intern alumni
Since 2002, CAPI's International Internship Program has seen many talented interns complete our program. Several of them have gone on to complete graduate work or to work in the region, and many of our former interns remain engaged with the Centre through our events and projects.
Adam Tran
Adam is currently majoring in Political Science and completing the Intercultural Education Training Program diploma at the University of Victoria. His volunteer experience with the Student Refugee Program has ignited a passion for critically and compassionately learning about migration, human rights, and transformative social change.
Chandra Merry
Chandra's BA is in English literature, which she chose because of its meeting of arts and politics. She loves learning about feminisms, the language of rights, and collective processes. She is fascinated by coexistence, non violent communication, and the poetry of non verbal language, especially as it intersects with culture. She is very grateful to have been accepted to intern with CMA!
