In the second part of my interview, Gigi Francisco continues to speak on Aid Effectiveness, Financing for Development and the role of the United Nations within these processes. Gigi concludes the interview on a high note, sharing with the listener some of the things that have inspired and shaped her work as an activist.

An Interview with DAWN's Gigi Francisco - Part 1

In the first part of my interview with Gigi Francisco, Global Coordinator for Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era (DAWN), she speaks on the move of DAWN to the Philippines. She then traces the journey of the formation of the Women's Working Group on Financing for Development while sharing some thoughts on the Monterrey Consensus, the Aid Effectiveness Architecture and the Financing for Development Framework.
