Chantal Beaubien worked as the Children's Rights Officer with the Cambodian League for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights (LICADHO) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as part of CAPI's 2006-07 Internship Program funded by Foreign Affairs Canada.

Chantal, of Montreal, Quebec, is a graduate of McGill University, Law Faculty, with a BCL and an LLB in Common and Civil Law.

In describing her experience Chantal said:
