Helen Beynon worked as the Program Officer - Micronesia Challenge with the Micronesia Conservation Trust (MCT) in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia as part of CAPI's 2008-09 Internship Program.

Helen is from Burnaby, British Columbia and has a BA in Communications, and a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development from Simon Fraser University. She also has a visual arts background and has studied and volunteered in Costa Rica, the Galapagos Islands and in Ecuador. Helen’s placement was funded through CIDA’s International Youth Internship Program.
