Pia Bustos worked as the Legal and Human Rights Task Force Researcher with the Pacific Islands AIDS Foundation (PIAF) ‐ Legal and Human Rights Task Force in Suva, Fiji, as part of CAPI's 2006-07 Internship Program funded by Foreign Affairs Canada.

Pia, of Richmond, British Columbia, has a BA in English, a Minor in Commerce, and an LLB in Law from the University of British Columbia.
