Kate Duplessis worked as the Program Officer - Capacity Building and Outreach with the National Center Against Violence (NCAV) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia as part of our 2008-09 CAPI Internship Program.

Kate is from Ottawa and has a BAH in International Development from St. Mary’s University and a Masters of Social Work from Carleton University. Kate has a particular interest in HIV/AIDS, poverty and social justice. She has travelled and worked in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Kate’s placement was funded through CIDA’s International Youth Internship Program.
