Cindy Jiang

With CAPI from September, 2009 - December, 2009

Cindy Jiang worked as a Program Assistant with Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA), in Quezon City, Philippines. This internship was part of CAPI's 2009-10 Students for Development Program, funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Cindy is a third-year Pacific and Asian Studies student at UVic and is the recipient of the President's Scholarship and Golden Key honour. Cindy has participated in two exchange programs to China to pursue language studies in Mandarin and has participated in a field school study in Vietnam. In 2007 she was selected for Dragon 100, as one of a hundred worldwide-chosen Chinese leaders of tomorrow, to tour Hong Kong and Henan province in China.
