Jessica Ly

Jessica Ly worked as a Program Assistant with the Women and Gender Institute (WAGI), Miriam College, in Quezon City, Philippines. This internship was part of CAPI's 2009-10 Students for Development Program, funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
Jessica is a fourth-year Sociology student at UVic, concentrating on Social Justice, with a minor in Pacific and Asian Studies. Her research interests include: individual and social rights, social impacts of institutional change, gender roles within the family, women's health at a consequence of socio-economic status, and domestic violence.
