Dylan Sherlock

With CAPI from August, 2009 - December, 2009

Dylan Sherlock worked as a Program Assistant with Future Generations China, in Beijing, China, with a focus on the efforts related to this year's Green Long March. This internship was part of CAPI's 2009-10 Students for Development Program, funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Dylan is a fourth-year UVic student in Pacific and Asian Studies and Anthropology with a keen interest in China and the environment. He has participated in two intensive Mandarin language programs in China: at Shandong University and East China Normal University. He was also involved in the Canada World Youth Africa-Canada Eco-Leadership Program in 2005-06, where he spent three months in a rural village in Kenya as a volunteer.
