Furqan Asif

With CAPI from October, 2010 - March, 2011

Furqan Asif worked for five months as a Project Officer with The WorldFish Center, in Los Banos, Philippines. This internship was part of CAPI's 2010-11 International Youth Internship Program (IYIP), funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). 

Furqan has been working at CIDA as an Environment Specialist over the summer and has recently completed his Master's in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto. His undergraduate degree is in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Western Ontario. He has a passion for international development and environmental sustainability/management in areas of food security, agriculture, and policy.
