Kristy Farkas

Kristy Farkas has an Honours B.Mus. from Wilfrid Laurier University, in Waterloo, Ontario, and an M.Mus. from UVic, both with a focus on composition.  Before joining CAPI in 2009, she spent two and a half years teaching ESL in Japan.

As the Program Assistant, Kristy provided support to CAPI's International Internship Program and other programming.  She continues to work actively as a composer and performer in Canada and abroad and is currently the New Music Curator at Open Space Gallery in Victoria and the Concert Manager at UVic's School of Music.
