Melanie Matining

With CAPI from November, 2009 - February, 2010

Melanie Matining worked as a Program Assistant with Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA), in Quezon City, Philippines.  This internship was part of CAPI's 2009-10 Students for Development Program, funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Melanie is a third-year UVic student in Linguistics and Women's Studies.   She has worked with local and national multiracial, Indigenous and immigrant service organizations including antidote, the Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society, and Girls Action Foundation.
